The objective was to evaluate the financial decision making of a student community in the State of Guanajuato. The method is quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional. The results derived in significant contributions from a theoretical, comparative, empirical, and practical perspective. In conclusion, it was identified how the virtual student community makes its financial decisions providing a quantified scenario to manage strategic educational actions.
