The objective of this article is to analyze the scientific production on Community Sustainability (CS) through searches in Scopus and Web of Science. The methodology used includes a two-phase bibliometric analysis: a bibliometric performance analysis in the period 1972-2022 covering most cited articles, authors, journals, countries, and funding entities; and a scientific mapping using VOSviewer software to visualize co-citation and co-occurrence networks. The results reveal 904 documents in Scopus in areas such as economics, econometrics, finance, business, management, and accounting, 93% of them being articles. The United States stands out as the country with the highest production in this field. A growth of knowledge in the last 10 years is observed, applied in the financial business sector as the main finding. Future lines of research are related to empowerment, equity, gender, fair trade, and alternative economies.
