Best practices for conflict prevention in the family business succession process in Mexico

In this current article, practical actions are to described prevent conflicts in the process of suc-
cession in the family business, proposing econo-mic policys units to strengthen their economic assets in the long term. Today, the family busi-ness is the economic support of some vulnerable economies and its development, so their study is very important to identify the right channels to boost their business development and retention through family succession and promoting entre-preneurial development in each of its members, which is considered by many experts as one of the critical variables that define and jeopardize the future of the heritage of the family business. However, most of the problems encountered in the process of success the family business, vary according to the social structure in which they are located, entrepreneurial culture and the economic environment in which they develop. Finally, the study is strengthened by exposure of two real cases of succession in the mexican family business.
